The “Mud House Mudride” will be the mother of all MTB events. It is an MTB event that caters for every level of MTB'er from the absolute beginner, weekend warrior to elite rider. If you have access to a mountain bike then you need to be part of of this amazing weekend of thrills and spills.

The MTB courses will comprise of 20km and 40km loops that start and finish from Mud House Winery. From the winery you will head to the west and up on the “The Farm with No Name” which is situated in, over and around Mount Cass. This a once a year opporunity.

The venue for this weekend of wild rides and fun is the iconic Mud House Winery at Waipara just north of Christchurch on SH1.

What else is on that makes this event so spectacular? I am glad you asked because not only is the Saturday totally devoted to cross country colossus but then on the Sunday the first ever South Island Cycle Cross Champs are taking place in and around the winery and will be a rider/spectator extravaganza! Yes There's More. We have lots more fun instore for you with the first ever New Zealand Cycle Polo Championship. As well as the South Island Cycle Cross Championship. Both of these great events will take place the day after the cross country event. The whole weekend will be an extravaganza of everything to do with off road biking. |
